A Little About Me...

From an early age, art has always fascinated me and brought my creative side to the fore; the fact that it runs in my family has always helped me to have creative perspectives on different subjects. I’ve had various influences and hands-on experiences working with my mother and sister like hand and block painting on fabric, embroideries, knitting, crocheting, sculpture artwork, and murals with colors and clay.

I earned my Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in Computer Science & Engineering and have been working for over 14 years as an Assistant Professor and love to teach different subjects.

I always loved to do crafts for my home decor, but never imagined that art could be my career.  I rediscovered my passion and urge for art recently, and started my journey once again. Art helps me to maintain mind-body balance, self-awareness, and acceptance of self and my artwork would reflect all my dedication and soulfulness that goes into it.

My art subjects vary widely, some are inspired by the everlasting beauty & blessings of nature, whereas others are expressions of human experiences and the process of rediscovering oneself. Creating artwork helps me to escape from outer reality, and to float subtly into the goodness of our inner world, and to understand our surroundings with a new perspective. I find it fascinating to paint subjects that can inspire us to look at life’s endeavors as a seed of growth and not a cause of suffering.

I strongly feel that art affects our emotional bodies in a very profound positive way. And every artwork I create is very close to my heart as the process transmits joy, heals my soul, and makes me feel more alive being in the moment.

Thank you for taking the time to share my journey and supporting me to bring my passion into reality and sharing my Joy with You.
